This morning I had the last ultrasound before the baby is born. Everything looks great. He weighs 5lbs. 10 oz. The doctor showed us his "practice breathing" and the excellent development of all his organs. We're scheduled for amnio on Wednesday morning, then an afternoon appointment with the OB to schedule the delivery. Delivery will be based on the results of the amnio. If his lungs are ready, delivery could be Thursday or Friday. If not, we'll have to wait until next week to meet the little guy. We got a great picture of his face. Look closely. He has chubby cheeks, a little frown, and a cute little nose.
